Onyx

According to ancient Greek myth, the stones we know as Onyx
come from the goddess Venus’s fingernails,
trimmed by Eros as she was sleeping
and scattered on the seashores of the earth.

In tune with the earth’s energies, balancing Yin and Yang,
they are believed to sooth fears and overwhelming emotions,
and to aid concentration and meditation.

It is also said that they protect against venomous snakes
and insect bites.

Black Onyx creates a shield against evil and danger,
absorbing anger and malevolence.
It should be worn or carried when you anticipate danger.
